Network Distributed Architecture
MAGALI is basically a standalone system providing all real time and post processing required functions. NDA architecture is an extension designed to distribute the different MAGALI Real Time functions on several systems connected to a network. Thus, each system works synchronously on a dedicated task : acquisition / generation, monitoring, visualization, scheduling.
Functionalities
- Acquisition and generation of large number of data formats : telemetry, bus MILSTD-1553, ARINC429, analogic, serial, Ethernet, discrete, counter, specific.
- Distribution of the real time acquisition/generation loads on several processors.
- Monitoring and real time follow up by a large number of users.
- Visualization of numerous parameters in real time.
- Automatic synchronization of the sources, whatever the format and acquisition platforms (Windows, Linux, UNIX, VxWorks, …).
- Network distribution of data in raw values or in engineering units using UDP and TCP/IP.
- Test configuration separately from the SPE as a unique system.

Functions
Distributed visualization on several stations :
In this configuration, the acquisition station fills all functions of a standalone system : acquisition, monitoring, real time visualization, post processing. The other stations are only real time visualisation stations.
Distributed acquisition on several stations :
When the acquisition constraints are too strong, streams to acquire can be distributed on several stations. The monitoring system thus, controls all the acquisition systems as a unique one.
